Robotics Class

Designed with the vision of raising individuals equipped with the skills required by today’s world, the AREL Robotics Laboratory offers students the opportunity to become not only consumers of technology but also producers. Through a coding-based learning approach, our students effectively develop their problem-solving, analytical thinking, and creative production skills.
The Robotics Laboratory is equipped with a projection system, 3D printer, electronic equipment, and various production tools providing a strong infrastructure where students can transform their ideas into tangible products. Structured for different age groups, this area includes a rich variety of materials such as unplugged coding tools suitable for kindergarten students; Makey Makey, Micro:bit, and Lego WeDo 2.0 sets for primary and middle school students; and Arduino kits and competition robotics equipment used at the high school level. The laboratory, supported by work and storage areas, offers an efficient and sustainable production environment where students can engage in both individual and collaborative work.
Besides gaining experience in areas such as programming and robotic coding, students are also introduced to 3D design and digital production processes through practical activities carried out in the robotics laboratory. The environment is designed with an interdisciplinary approach, enabling students to turn their theoretical knowledge into practice.
Through the projects they develop in the Robotics Laboratory, AREL students experience the excitement of producing, experimenting, and discovering while growing into individuals equipped to shape the technologies of the future. Throughout the year, they have the opportunity to exhibit their projects within the school and share them on different platforms. They actively participate in national and international competitions and achieve significant success. Teknofest and the Ministry of National Education Robotics Finalist achievements, awards in 3D design, and first-place prizes in digital storytelling are concrete indicators of our students’ production-oriented work. These accomplishments strongly reflect the development of our students as individuals who not only consume but also produce and confidently express themselves.
