IBO

Becoming a World School, Developing Global Citizens
The International Baccalaureate (IB) is an international educational framework that aims to develop students as global thinkers who are responsible and take action for a peaceful world. Today, there are over 5,000 IB World Schools in more than 150 countries, all operating under the same educational philosophy and shared quality standards.
The International Baccalaureate Organization aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate individuals who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end, the IBO works with schools, governments, and international organizations to develop challenging programs of international education and rigorous assessment. These programs encourage students to become active, compassionate, and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
