What is the International Baccalaureate (IB)?
The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation, motivated by its mission and focused on the student. There are four programmes offered by IB - Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, Diploma Programme and Career-Related Certificate - for students between the ages 3-19 to help them develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world.
AREL Schools offer certified International Baccalaureate programmes which provide education that meets international standards. AREL Schools have offered the Middle Years Programme since 2007 and the Primary Years Programme since 2008.
AREL Schools, following the IB programmes, aim to educate its students to become individuals who are principled, knowledgeable, open-minded, self-confident, inquirers, critical thinkers, communicators.
