At the end of November, 4th grade students had a chance to learn about and celebrate other cultures in the world. After learning about Turkish culture with their classroom teachers, they learned about international cultures with their English teachers. The students had a chance to focus on four countries – Italy, Hungary, China and South Korea. They talked about what culture was and what was similar and different about the cultures. The most entertaining part for the students was having the chance to try some foods from those countries. They students ate pizza, crepes with nutella, green onion pancakes and noodles to celebrate their new knowledge.
