Students from 11/TM chose a historical structure in Istanbul and worked on a detailed research project about it for our “Art of Turks” unit. We especially chose structures from the Byzantine and Ottomon periods. Afterwards, we organised a trip to visit these historical places. The students who had researched each structure were in charge guiding their friends and giving them information about the places.
