13th International Baccalaureate Day
General Information for the 13th IB Day

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR THE 13th IB DAY

  • The 13th IB Day will be held by AREL Schools on 28th of March 2015, between 08.00 and 17.30 in Istanbul.
  • No fees will apply for only participants making presentations on their own.
  • For multiple presenters, only one presenter is out of charge, the other presenters need to pay.
  • The approved presentations need to be uploaded on the web site between March 2-16.
  • Participants will be provided with a transportation service from the points mentioned on the event’s website.
  • Lunch and refreshments during coffee breaks are included within the registration fee.
  • We have contacted some hotels and got discounts for participants who will be staying at hotels. These participants need to contact with the relevant people of the hotels written on the website for the check-in.

 

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

  • Registrations for the presentation started on the 1st of December 2014 and continue until the 15th of January 2015. During this process, changes will be possible on the webpage for the presentations.
  • Each school will register first the presenters, then the participants to the event through a password given to the school’s IB Coordinators (DP-MYP-PYP). The coordinators will be sent an e-mail including their passwords very soon.
  • Participants who will make presentations will register on the website so that their presentations are taken into evaluation. Announcement of approved presentations will be on the website on the 23rd of January 2015.
  • Registrations for participants who will not make any presentations will start on 9th of February 2015 and continue until 23rd of March 2015.
  • Registration fee is 100 TL per participant. The total amount of each school will be expected between 9th of February and 23rd of March through an account number provided. The explanation should be “13th IB Day payment”.
  • Registrations made after 13th of March 2015 will proceed as “Late Registrations” and be subject to a registration fee of 120 TL.  
  • Cancellation and Refund Policy: Cancellations before 13th of March 2015 will be totally refunded. All cancellations occurring before 23rd of March 2015 will incur a fine of 60 % of the registration fee. No refunds will apply for cancellations after 23rd of March 2015.

 

IMPORTANT DATES

  • January 15, 2015: Presentation application deadline
  • January 23rd, 2015: Announcement of the approved presentations
  • February 9-March 23: Participants’ registration and payment
